With its more than twenty-year presence on the market, Vitrociset has acquired high standard skills and experience in Integrated Logistics and in the relevant technical support services.

Familiarity with logistics processes, thorough knowledge of technologies and architectures, as well as expertise in the “decision-making” information support are part of the company’s cultural and vocational heritage in this field.

As for Technical Services, Vitrociset has acquired primary skills and extensive know-how in Operations Engineering and Logistic Support, ranging from maintenance services through technical and operational management to Global Services.

Within Integrated Logistics, Vitrociset provides the following services:

  • Analysis, design and/or re-engineering of logistics processes for large organizations in charge of managing a number of complex systems; 
  • Customer support for resource dimensioning and optimization to keep complex systems in working order;
  • Design, development, management as well as corrective, adaptive and perfective maintenance of information systems which enable technical and logistics management of complex systems;
  • Design, implementation and maintenance of automated spare parts warehousing systems, with execution of the related installation and civil works;
  • Help desk support services, either remote or direct, for proper use of info-logistics systems;
  • Organizational support, important for optimizing the use of info-logistics systems;
  • Arrangement and supply of training courses in such themes as logistics support, processes, organisation and engineering;
  • Arrangement and supply of training courses on the use of info-logistics systems. The training programme methodological approach may range from the traditional one, such as classroom courses, to enhanced electronic and CBT training sessions   

SILEF – Information Logistics System for the management of complex systems – is only an example of Vitrociset’s projects within Integrated Logistics.

SILEF was designed to provide the Italian Air Force with a powerful planning, management and  control tool for the full “Supply Chain” of its weapons systems, able to harmonize procedures, data and functions, with particular regard to problems concerned with material management and maintenance operations.

As for technical services, Vitrociset has acquired an extensive know-how within extremely articulated and complex contexts such as the Flight Assistance, Defence and Space sectors. 

Among the major technical services provided by Vitrociset, the following may be highlighted:

  • Mechanical overhauling services for systems and equipment;
  • Logistics services for advanced electronic systems. Vitrociset is equipped with leading-edge electronic repair laboratories for maintenance of radar, weapons and telecommunications equipment such as radio links, multiplexers, voice switching systems and radio equipment.
