Supply of products and services Through its skills and know-how in the sector of integrated logistics, Vitrociset has been involved in the design and development of logistic support systems for the Italian Centre of the Helios satellite. This included the definition of the following processes: maintenance, inventory and stock management, personnel training, and operational procedures – as required in the nominal and emergency operations of the centre. Vitrociset was responsible for integrated logistic support for SICRAL and, in such respect, defined the system operational and logistic analyses. SICRAL is the Italian Defence system operational/tactical communication satellite. The defined logistics embraces all ground system components: a control centre, a communication centre and the various types of remote terminals. |
