The proposed platform is named Alfresco, an open source document management platform with a high reputation for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) among the main analysts of the sector. Document archiving, retrieval and usage are peculiar characteristics of the most modern CMSs. The document library provides centralised functionality for the publication of documents and their viewing in accordance with the administrator’s assigned rights of access. As a result, the system enriches the information offer by adding documents in any format (doc, pdf, txt …) to web pages and concurrently allows an administrator to archive and manage them within a community or workgroup.
