Within the ARIT project, whose purpose was the development of the
multimedia tourist, cultural and business promotion services of the
Abruzzo Region, Vitrociset has designed and developed MHP (Multimedia
Home Platform) systems based on Digital Terrestrial Television. The
application developed for digital TV features a description of the
portal services and objectives in a textual area as well as a menu for
access to the various services offered, namely:
- Discover
Abruzzo: each featured item (nature, art and history, wine and food,
places, sports, wellness and entertainment) is illustrated by a short
descriptive page;
- Itineraries: each identified type of
itinerary (gastronomy, tradition, sports, adventure, motorcycling,
etc.) is shown and illustrated by a short descriptive page;
- Useful
information: a section comprising three parts, i.e. “How to get there
and move around” (information of how to reach and trip around Abruzzo
by car, plane, etc., “Useful Numbers” (a page listing the main useful
numbers), “Before leaving” (another useful passenger information page);
- Events:
the Events section showcases a selected number of major events.
Contents are compiled by editors with the content management tool used
for the portal (Liferay).
